H.E.A.D. Talk: Hospice
What is hospice? How can hospice support individuals with dementia, and their loved ones, in our community?
This talk will provide information on what services Whatcom Hospice can provide, and their multidisciplinary approach to providing care and comfort to those at the end of life.
About The Speaker: Greta Yocom is the Community Outreach Coordinator for Whatcom Hospice. She has been with the organization for 5 years and worked closely with many families who are navigating a journey with dementia. She is passionate about education on end of life issues and dementia caregiving, drawing from her experiences as a hospice worker and a caregiver for her own father with dementia.
